Dornburg Castles

Visitors can experience the working of Goethe in Dornburg at the Renaissance Castle. At the Rococo Castle, Dornburg’s Rose Queen inaugurates the colourfully decorated Rose Festival procession every year in July. Another unique attraction is the park which is designed according to French and English model, laid out on five terraces, with steep vineyards, rose arches and pergolas.
